Claudetta Lois Douglas, 81, of Metropolis, passed away at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, at the McKinney Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Gordon Montgomery officiated.
Lois was a retired florist and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Lois is survived by her mother, Reba Montgomery; sons, Tom Copley (Brenda), Monty Douglas (Vickie), Daniel Douglas, and Dustin Douglas (Angie); daughter, Elizabeth Douglas; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Lyndia Niedermyer and Tera Yoshimura; brothers, Steve Montgomery and John Tracy Montgomery; several nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her father, H.D. Montgomery.
