Joyce Windhorst Obituary
Joyce (Anderson) Windhorst, 87 of Joppa, passed away at 9:50 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 2 p.m.Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. Sonny James Dougherty-Schreiner officiating.
Joyce worked for many years at Frank Farmer Chevrolet and Rudd Woodall Ford. She was a member of Joppa Missionary Baptist Church and the Smiling Mommas.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Michael Lee Windhorst and Everett Dale Windhorst and wife Carol Ann; grandchildren, Anthony Dale Windhorst and wife Misty and Eric Lee Windhorst; great granddaughter, Sophie Blanche Windhorst.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Grace (Harris) Anderson; husband of 63 years, Howard Windhorst; sister, Kathleen Laird; brothers, Charles Anderson and Eugene Anderson.
Memorials may be made in Joyce's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Condolences may be made at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
