Bernard Reilly Obituary

Bernard P. "Barney" Reilly, 87, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, in Milford. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn (Hubbs) Reilly. Born in Manhattan, he was the son of the late Charles and Alice (Smith) Reilly. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. He was a longtime employee of Pepperidge Farm. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Jean Race and her husband, Robert, of Texas, Dolores Beadle and her husband, Thomas, of Texas, Alice Reilly of Hopkinton and Christine Nastarowicz and her husband, Michael, of New Jersey; and his sons, Charles and his wife, Jeannie, of Florida, Brian Reilly of New Jersey, Michael Reilly of New Jersey, John and his wife, Patricia, of New Jersey, Thomas and his wife, Theresa, of New Jersey, Patrick and his wife, Lorrie, of North Carolina, and Joseph and his wife, Lois, of New Jersey. He also leaves 32 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 25, at 9 a.m., at the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home (www.callanancronin. com), 34 Church St., Hopkinton. A funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Church, 20 Church St. Burial with military honors will follow in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Flushing, N.Y.
