Charles F. Scott

Charles F. Scott, 76, of Grafton and formerly Southborough and Holliston, passed away in his sleep on October 22, 2015 at Milford Regional Hospital. Born in Newton, he was the son of the late Mildred (Gilkes) and Charles Scott. He was the husband of 38 years to Melody Taylor-Scott of Grafton. Charles was a well known and respected builder and developer in the metrowest area. A sportsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Denise Franks of Grafton, Charles Scott and his wife Lori of Upton, Jeffrey Scott of Northbridge, Melanie Scott- Brouillette and her husband Matthew of Grafton; 5 siblings, Shirley Krebs of FL, Mildred Dias of Vineyard Haven, Nancy McGinnis of Natick, Robert Scott of Holliston, and John Scott of FL. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Samantha, Victoria, Nicholas, Kayla, Kevin, Madison, and Evan. He is predeceased by his sister, Betty Scott. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th from 2:00-4: the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A service will follow visitation at 5:00p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place on Monday, October 26th at 12:15p.m. in Oak Bluffs Cemetery, Martha's Vineyard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be Mass Wildlife, 1 Rabbit Hill Rd., Westborough, MA 0158.
