Cheryl (Tartaglia) McLean age 56 from Trabuco Canyon CA, formerly of Ashland, MA passed away at her home in Trabuco Canyon, CA. Cheryl was a registered nurse with Coastal Communities Hospital for the last 13 years. Cheryl was very active in many humanitarian endeavors which included being a volunteer nurse in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, Mustang Rescue, care packages for deployed troops, Friends of the Sea Lions and many more. Cheryl is survived by her son Joshua Siipola and his wife Tory of McKinleyville, CA. Her mother, Florence Dancause of Ashland, MA. Her brother Richard Tartaglia of Ashland and her sister Marie (Tartaglia) Heenan and her husband Michaelof Yarmouth Port, MA. Her Step-Sisters Diane (Dancause) Fearebay, her husband Stephen of Framingham, MA, Donna (Dancause) Featherstone and her husband Dennis of Uxbridge, MA and Debbie (Dancause) Abate and her husband Steven of Uxbridge, MA. Cheryl's grandchildren Brandon Cox, Kelsey Edwards and Kyle Siipola and many Aunts and Uncles and much loved nieces and nephews. Cheryl also leaves her four beloved dogs Luke, Rascal, Rocky and Pepper. Cheryl is now re-united in Heaven with her son Jeremy Siipola, her brother John Fred Tartaglia Jr, her father John Fred Tartaglia Sr. and her Step-Father, Charles Dancause. In lieu of flowers, please send donations of remembrance to the Greater Ashland Lions Club, an animal shelter of your choice or any of the charities Cheryl was active in. A funeral Mass will be said on Monday, January 13 in St. Cecilia's Church Esty St Ashland at 9:00am with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
