Helen Glynn Obituary

Helen E. Glynn MILLIS Helen E. Glynn, 87, a resident of Millis since1959, died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at the Thomas Upham House in Medfield. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late William Patrick and Ellen M. (Donahue) Kelly. She was educated in the Somerville school system. Mrs. Glynn had lived in Norfolk, Va., prior to settling in Millis in 1959. She devoted her life to making a home for her family and loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a longtime communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Predeceased by her husband, John Paul Glynn, and a daughter, Patricia A. Simpson, she is survived by her children, Paula E. Lacka of South Dennis, Maureen L . McDonough of Annandale, Va., Ann M. Martorano of Acton, John P. Glynn of Boston and Richard F. Glynn of Northbridge; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great- grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 18, at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 82 Exchange St., Millis, followed by burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Millis. If desired, memorial contributions in Helens name may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, #2 , Boston, MA 02114.
