Joyce. I didn't know you all that well in High School, but I knew who you were. But I knew Jimmy very well from the very early days as kids in grade school. Life happens and we all move on. But tonight I attended the WHS '72 45th reunion and Debbie Luke told me that Jimmy had passed.
I hadn't talked with Jimmy for probably 40 years. But on hearing the news, it all came back. We were once members of a "rat pack" of little kids hanging out together talking about our big dreams when we grew up! On reflection I would have to say that we both did alright in the end. Joyce, Jimmy was lucky to have found you. I was lucky to know him. And I just couldn't go to bed tonight without letting you know that.

It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them.

Jimmy is that special person.

My favorite memory of Jim was when he played his guitar and sang to his neice Linda and Miguel at their wedding rehearsal dinner. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. He sang with love ❤.
