James Drouin

James M. Drouin, age 60 , of Marlborough died peacefully, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at UMass Memorial Healthcare Center in Worcester after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his Mother, Virginia (Morse) Drouin and Father, Leon Drouin. He attended Marlboro High School and worked over 30 years as a licensed sprinkler fitter for fire protection. He was a talented carpenter, musician and an avid fisherman who took pride in creating his own fishing rods and tying his own flys. But what was near and dear to his heart was his time spent with family and friends. James is survived by his wife, Michelle (Babineau) Drouin and his children: Nicolette Gonzalez, Alicia Drouin, Jeremey Drouin, Maryanne Berry, Eben Berry, Kimberly Maurico, Katie Smith and Evan Smith. He was the beloved PopPop to his grandchildren: Ashli, Kaylee, Mariah, Amaya, Eben Jr., Kenzie, Alex, Christian, Ethan and Jarin. He also leaves behind his siblings: Kenneth Drouin, William Drouin, Vaughn Drouin, Linda Waeger, Diane Wright and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to a celebration of Jimmy's life on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Moose Lodge, 67 Fitchburg Street, Marlborough, Ma from 2-6pm.
