John Mathieu

John L. Mathieu, age 62, of Framingham, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Eliot House in Natick. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Vilma (Ferri) Turchi and the late Louis Jackie Mathieu. He was also the step-son of the late Dino Turchi. John graduated for Framingham South High School, class of 1968. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service he worked at Marconis restaurant for 24 years and worked for the Framingham Housing Authority for 25 years. He enjoyed gardening and vacationing on Cape Cod with his friends. John is survived by his sister Lisa Guerette and her husband Robert of Shrewsbury and his brother Perry Turchi and his wife Kathy of South bend, IN. He is also survived by his two sons Christopher and Shaun Mathieu and many uncles, aunts, a niece and nephew, cousins and dear friends. At Johns request, his funeral services and burial will be private. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Beech St., Framingham.
