Joe was the model of patience and upbeat outlook. He was a kind and caring colleague and a gentle friend.
Nancy, I remember you as a supportive parent when I taught Kathy, Kerry, Joe, and Kevin. Every time I pass your home on Salem End Road I smile. You and Joe raised some terrific kids there.
Kathy, Kerry, Joe, and Kevin: I remember each of you with love. You were bright, curious and warm hearted children. Your glow was similar to your Dad's.
This loss is difficult. I remember each of you by name in my prayers.

I remember him being a real interesting teacher. I still remember the anti pollution movie he showed in class, and probably remember most of the words to the theme song. I believe a friend of his had something to do with the film. RIP Mr Cullen.

Dear Nancy and your family,
I send my heartfelt sympathy to you all in the passing of Joe....too soon.
I had the pleasure of working with him for "umteen" years at Stapleton and enjoyed every minute of his presence. He was a special man with a huge heart and a bigger smile.
Hugs to all.
