Joshua Dean Casey died on December 11th, 2017 three days shy of his eighteenth birthday. Josh was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Dominic and Tina Casey. His siblings include his older brother Kyle and a younger sister and brother, Annamarie and Aaron. For the past six years, Josh lived in Framingham, Massachusetts, where his aunt and uncle, Chantal and Troy Johnson, raised him, disciplined him, and loved him as they did his cousins, Troy and Mahalia. Funeral services will be held at 7PM Sunday, October 17, 2017 at the Duckett | J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road (Route 20), Sudbury. My heart breaks for all who loved him. He was obviously very intelligent and curious.
I am so so sorry. It is so hard to grow up these days, and must change or our intelligent, curious, futurist children will continue to diminish. Times need to change, or we will have no future geniuses.

I feel so fortunate to have had Josh as a student this year. He was always polite and pleasant, and I will always remember how his luminous green eyes sparkled whenever he became engrossed in a particular topic. Now he belongs to the stars, and I lift him up in prayers knowing that he is resting peacefully and safely in the arms of the Lord.

Tearful condolences to Joshua's family! It is beyond comprehension how a family has to say goodbye to such a young man! Josh must have been suffering with a lot of emotional pain.
