Lidia Leonardo Obituary

Lidia M. Leonardo, 71, of Hudson, died on Monday, Nov. 25th at the Kaplan Family Hospice Home in Danvers. She was predeceased by her husband Victor Leonardo in July of this year and her son Victor M. Leonardo in Sept. of this year. Lidia was born and raised in Portugal, daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Medeiros. She has resided in Hudson since the early 70s after emigrating from Portugal. She was employed as an assembler for many years by the Hudson Lock Co. in Hudson until her retirement. Lidia enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She loved preparing special dishes that she shared with family members at all their gatherings. She was a member of Saint Michaels Parish in Hudson. Lidia was predeceased by her brother and three sisters and is survived by her many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 30th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Saturday, Nov. 30th from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com) prior to the mass.
