Lisa Ligon Obituary

Lisa Ligon, 50, formerly of Framingham, MA lost her valiant battle with angiosarcoma on Saturday February 16th in Laguna Beach, CA, surrounded at home by loving friends and family. Following graduation from Framingham North High School, Lisa earned a degree from University of Tampa, FL then worked for several medical device companies and was most recently based in Sydney, Australia with Covidien, Inc. Lisa was a very outgoing and caring woman whose smile, love, laughter and positive energy influenced the lives and paths of everyone she came in contact with. She was an outdoor adventurer and loved traveling, skiing, scuba, hiking, kayaking, wildlife and dogs. Lisa is survived by her fianc Andrew Payne of New South Wales, Australia; mother Joan Ligon of Laguna Woods, CA; father Thomas Ligon and his wife Marian Bressel of Wayland, MA; sister Laura Jumani, her husband David and nieces Siena and Elle of Laguna Beach, CA; and brother David Ligon of San Francisco/Truckee, CA. A memorial service is planned for March 10th in Laguna Beach. Memorial contributions can be made in Lisa's name to the Pacific Mammal Center http://www.pacificmmc.org/donations.html
