Paul was a wonderful man who made a huge impact in my life. He saw something in me long before I saw it,and started praying for me I found out when He and Karen took me to dinner on one of their many trips to Maui. This one being in 2018.at which time I came to realize I am an alcoholic and had gotten sobah the previous year. He was so proud of me.. .. he took me under his wing ( if you will) when I lost my Dad in 2015 and still haven't fully dealt with. But ,man he sure helped me throughout the ruff patches. He taught me how to put more fo

Dear Curtis family,
I had the honor of serving with Paul as his Platoon Leader in Viet Nam.
I do not know how much he shared his experiences but please know Paul was not just a brave and courageous soldier, he was an exceptional combat leader.
Under extreme fire, he was always moving to the front, caring for his squad, trusted by all.
He will forever be in my heart and prayers, never forgotten.
Donna and I send you our most sincere condolences.
Regards

To the Curtis Family,
Please accept my condolences regarding Paul's passing. I had the pleasure of having worked w/Paul during the time when he was at Wonder Bread. We became close friends during those years due to the fact that we were both Vietnam vets, the same age, had similar backgrounds & temperaments, but mostly because we were both Christians. We had many memorable conversations regarding Biblical prophecies, books, and life, in general. Paul was one of my favorite people that I had ever had the pleasure of meeting. God Bless!

Dear Karen,
I was saddened to learn of Paul's passing.I have many memories of our growing up together, he on Hartford Street and my brother and I on Harrison Street, our homes almost backing up to one another. During those early years we were nearly inseparable... Alas we grew apart. On occasion our paths would cross in Framingham and we would "catch up"; sadly not often enough. I hope you find solace in the memories of 45 years together, and gain strength from your sons, daughters-in law and grandchildren.
As we say, may his memory be as a blessing

My deepest and sincerest sympathy to Karen, David, Steven, Brian and Joe. As well as Paul's many other heartbroken family members and friends. The loss of this uniquely genuine, generous and irreplaceable human being would be even considerably more painful if not for his contagious faith in God and belief that death is not necessarily the end. I will forever miss Paul's presence and insightful analysis of boxing matches on fight night and our long conversations about everything. Which now don't seem anywhere near long enough. While Paul was a very proud man (and rightly so, for the bravery he displayed in service of our Nation) he also frequently expressed extreme humility and gratitude. Most notably when the conversation turned to the subject of his marriage/love of his wife Karen and the many accomplishments of their sons. Though I am inspired by the memory of Paul's courageous battle with cancer, it also brings me great sadness and heartache. However, I will also always be eternally grateful for and cherish the many years of Paul's loyal friendship, patience and highly valued sage advise. These memories too can never be erased or replaced, nor can the positive influence Paul has clearly had on so many other lives.

My condolences to Paul's family. He has gone to a place where we will all meet up in Gods time. I had the good fortune to meet Paul in 1965 at Framingham South High School, Mr. Alves drafting class. Yeah, Paul drove Mr. Alves nuts but he had a catchy laugh and sense of humor. I believe he was one of the strongest kids in HS. as he was constantly challenging everyone to arm wrestle. Being on the losing end consistently he made up for the lost by saying something funny and giving me a tap .(punch) in the ba ck. Although I never could win I admired and respected Paul for what he was and although a distance friend I still thought of him with fond memories. He was a very brave as referenced by his service, as I , in Vietnam. God Bless you Paul, don't go challenging any of those angels. They may not play fair... :)
