TROY — Dan G. Mader, age 67, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness. He was born in Piqua on July 27, 1951 to Albert R. "Al" Mader of Troy and the late Joy M. Mader.
In addition to his father, Dan is survived by his wife of 46 years: Pamela K. (Goodin) Mader; children: Christy Mader, Danny (Katie) Mader and Tom (Wes) Mader, all of Troy; siblings: Steve Mader, Connie Davis and Julie (David) Glover, all of Troy; and grandchildren: Mason, Payne and Miles.
Dan was a member of Franklin Lodge F & AM #14, Antioch Shriners of Dayton and Troy Elks Lodge #833. He was owner-operator of Mader Automotive Center in Troy.
Memorial Service to honor Dan's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church in Tipp City. Family will greet friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45229.

To the Mader family, sorry to hear of DAN'S pasting,he was a son, husband, and father and he will be missed. I can not attend his serivces can't drive at nite.

To the Mader family, i am sorry to hear of Dan's pasting, he was a Son. Husband, and Father and i know that he will be very much miss. I am sorry that i will not be able to attend services for him because i zm unable to drive at night now with my eye problem, i will be thinking of you all. MIKE FOGT
