Jacqueline Addis Obituary

TROY - Jacqueline "Jackie" Addis, age 88, of Troy, OH, passed away on April 28, 2024, at StoryPoint Troy.

She was born on December 25, 1935, in Williamson, WV to the late Edgel Howard and Evelyn (Hamilton) Henson.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 69 years: Orville G. Addis of Troy; children: Jimmy Henson of Chattaroy, WV, Pam (Steven) Bornhorst of Troy, and Kim (Matt Andrews) Addis of Kettering; grandchildren: Erica, Derek, Jamie, Stefanie, Brittany, Adam, Jake, Leah, Jimmy, Justin, and Morgan; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sister: Lily Coburn; and brothers: Bob and Bill Howard.

Jackie worked at Copeland for 31 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy. She loved to attend church when she could. Jackie was known as the family cook and a loving grandmother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Eric Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
