PIQUA - Larry L. Studebaker, 78, formerly of Piqua, passed away Thursday evening, April 3, 2025, at Otterbein of Tipp City.
He was born January 26, 1947, in Christiansburg, to the late Cornelius and Goldie (Woods) Studebaker.
He will be missed and remembered by his daughters, Kelly (Barry) Ackley of Dublin and Kari (Jeff) Smith of Delaware; four grandchildren, Logan (Natalie) Ackley, Allison Ackley (Joey Lowers), Tyler (Shruthi) Smith and Canaan (Melissa) Smith; his siblings, Darlene Moak of Mississippi, Wally Studebaker of Covington and Roger Studebaker of Piqua; sister-in-law Terri Studebaker of Pleasant Hill; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Butch Studebaker.
Larry was a 1965 graduate of Newton High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Larry served as a manager at Coast-to-Coast Hardware, later working in manufacturing for the remainder of his career.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, where military honors will be conducted by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Friends may visit from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the funeral home.
