Allen and I were born the same year and next door neighbors. We were (Double Cousins). Our Dad's were brothers, our Mom's were sisters. We did everything together; started school together, First Sacraments together, Served as Altar Boys together, grades 2-12 together, drove 1956 Chevy's to school, played football, graduated together. We farmed, went hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, played Euchre in a group. We were blessed in so many many ways. I visited Allen shortly before Our Lord accepted him into His care. I believe in the Mystery of our Faith. And I believe Allen is at peace in Heavenly Treasure. Ben Messing

This is my dad's youngest brother. I spent all of my summers as a kid on my grandpa's farm. Allen was just a kid too a big one though. He was so much fun. I loved milking the cows and doing chores with him. I thought he was the coolest guy ever. Especially because I was a city kid. He taught me to drive tractors and took me wild motorcycle rides. He kinda led away from AM radio to FM with bands like the Yard birds and the Animals. He had so much influence on my adolescence. Allen taught me how to tell time some things you just never forget. He could shoot a dime out of the air with a BB gun two out of three times that was incredible. I remember one time my favorite kitty out in the barn was deathly sick. Uncle Allen got out this big horse needle and gave it a shot. I thought the shot would kill that cat but sure enough the next morning that cat was good as new. I was also fortunate enough to spend a lot of years with his dog Pumpsie Green. He really was the best dog in the world. My sister Mary Ann was there most of the time too. I'm sure she has as many stories as I do. I could tell stories all day. I'm just gonna miss him a lot.
