Timothy Lapka Obituary
Timothy "Tiny" Charles Lapka, 66 years old of Kinde, passed away at his home on August 2, 2024. Timothy was born in Bad Axe, on February 25, 1958 to the late Charles and Bertha (Talaski) Lapka.
Tim married Cheryl Nicholson on May 26, 2006 and she preceded him in death in December of 2021.
Tim was known for his humor and his love for woodworking and the beautiful pieces of furniture he created. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
Tim was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who asked.
Tim is survived by his children Lindsey (Brian Roberts) Lapka, Ryleigh Lapka, Lauren (Brian) Billings , Brent Goslin; grandchildren Makenzie Lapka and Madilynn Roberts; brothers Richard (Sharon ) Sobczak, Andy (Sue) Lapka; sister Deb (Dave) Butcher and many nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his brother Chuck Lapka and his wife Sally; sister Nancy Lapka and nephews Robert and Cliff.
Per Tim's wishes, cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
