Carolyn Helms Obituary
MIDDLESBORO — Carolyn Sue Helms, age 62, Middlesboro, KY passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at her home. She was born October 16, 1954 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of the late Jerry Hel ms and Maggie Cole Helms. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Junebug Helms.
She is survived by her son, Matt (Priscilla) Helms; her daughter, Rebecca (Jason) Hensley; brothers: Joe Helms, Gene Helms, Jim (Nancy) Helms, Jack (Ruby) Helms, Dan Helms, and Doug (Eartha) Helms; grandchildren: Lemisha Hensley, Dominique Hensley, Dante Helms, TaKayla Hensley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Simmons officiating. Music will be provided by Shanita Kelly, Donzella Kelly, and William Flanary. Interment will be in Lynch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Brooks, Jason Hensley, Matt Helms, Pernell Witherspoon, and Michael Rogers. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel. Shumate Funeral Home is entrusted with all arrangements.
