Aimee Patrice Buchanan
1958-2021
Aimee Patrice Buchanan 63, beloved mother of two children, passed away on July 6, 2021. She was born on March 1, 1958 in New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Richard Dorrbecker and Patricia Leahy Dorrbecker and resided in East Hampton, CT for the last 10 years. Aimee graduated from Penn State University with an Associate's degree in Plant Life Sciences in 1978. Aimee is survived by her daughter Caitlyn Buchanan and her fiancé Justin Soja, her son Jeffrey Buchanan, her grandson Jamie Soja, her sister Robyn Fortier and brother Bruce Dorrbecker, as well as her three nieces Erin Reed, Jillian Indoe and Kerri Fortier. Aimee enjoyed traveling, tending to her gardens and being a grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and loved ones. There will be no calling hours held, her family will be holding a private gathering.

I am so sorry to hear of Aimee's passing. I missed our daily check ins after she left our job. I never knew how to find her. Aimee, I thought of you often after you left. May you rest in peace.
