Arnold Steinback Obituary
Arnold Marvin Steinback Sr., 82, of Middletown, CT beloved husband of Donna (Robinson) Steinback departed this life on Thursday, November 9th at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in Bronx, NY on October 30, 1941, to the late Ernest Steinback Sr. and the late Adelaide Steinback-Howe. He was employed by Lipper International in Wallingford, CT, retiring in 2020. Along with his wife, Arnold leaves to cherish his memory one son, Arnold Steinback Jr. of Ladson, SC; one daughter, Jade Steinback of Middletown, CT; one stepson, Everett Deas of New Britain, CT; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, Arnold was predeceased by daughter, Kim Steinback, stepfather, Shellie Howe, three brothers, Sidney Steinback, Leslie Steinback and Ernest Steinback Jr.; two sisters, Helen Berry and Brenda Underwood, and his father and mother-in-law, John and Martha Robinson.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Cross Street A.M.E Zion Church,440 West St, Middletown, CT 06457. Viewing will be held 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in Arnold's memory to Cross Street A.M.E Zion Church Building Fund, 440 West Street P.O Box 223, Middletown, CT 06457. Rest in Peace Brother Arnold:
I have so many fond memories of my Brother in-Law Arnold..Always a fun time in his presence and especially on any Sunday at family dinner at mom & dad's home and the Giants are playing. Uncle Arnold would be dressed head to toe with his gear and for 4 quarters it was like you were at the game with him. Praying that my sister Donna and niece Jade, Arnold's pride and Joy, will stay strong during this trying time. Our family has lost a Son but the good Lord has gained his beautiful soul.
