Gregory Narducci Obituary

Gregory Narducci
Gregory Narducci, 67, of New Syrma Beach, FL, formerly of East Haddam, CT passed away peacefully at Smilow Cancer Hospital on October 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Greg was predeceased by his beloved wife, Venetta Narducci, his mother, Edith Bogue, and his father Ronald Narducci, Sr. Greg leaves behind his partner Beth Barry of East Haddam, his brother Ron Narducci, Jr. of East Haddam, his sister-in-law Denise Allen (wife Susan Perry) of Meriden, and several beloved nieces and nephews, including Nicole Barreto, Kimberly Narducci, James Narducci, Bryan Narducci, Donald Donner II, Austin Donner, Nathan Donner, Jeremiah Donner, Joshua Donner and Jamie Lynn Donner. Greg also held a special place in his heart for a little girl, Lorelei Landry, who affectionately called him "Grampy." Greg grew up and worked in the town of East Haddam until his retirement. After retirement, Greg moved to Florida where he was an active member of organizations including the Sons of the American Legion squadron 280, Sons of AMVETS National Post 2, Moose Lodge1835, The Dolphin Athletic Club and the Elks Lodge1557, where he was known for his kindness, loyalty and generosity. Greg's love of racing began early, following the Narducci family footsteps with a passion for the sport that started with racing go-carts (1980's) and later the Modifieds. In the 1990s, Greg and Venetta owned their own Modified car Number 30. Since then, Greg was a fixture in the racing community, where he was highly respected for his dedication, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship. Greg was immensely proud of the Florida Connection Racing/#VenettaStrong that sponsored modified cars, including his nephew, Bryan Narducci and Matt Hirschman. Greg could often be found on the golf course with friends, enjoying the game and creating many lasting memories that will always be cherished. Greg will be remembered for his kindness, his lifelong devotion to racing, and his deep love for his family and friends. In his honor, those close to him continue to celebrate his life and continue with the mantra #VenettaStrong. Calling hours will be on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, CT. Babe, this has hit me so hard. Your unexpected death has rocked my world! Thank you for loving me and showing me a side to life I never could have imagined. I love you beyond words. I miss your hugs, the way you walked so lightly on your feet that you would startle me. I miss your way with words, your laughter and that smile. Our time was limited but we sure did have some fun! You stole my . You were the best "Grampy" to Lorelei and I'll make sure she never forgets you and the love you had for her. You two loved each other so much. She was definitely your girl! You completed our family. We all miss you so much!

Love you more,
Beth
