Middletown, CT-Nicholas A. Zimmitti, 94 passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Nov. 20, 2021 he was the beloved father of son Joseph N. Zimmitti and wife Maria Zimmitti, son Steven S. Zimmitti and wife Kathy Zimmitti, daughter Lisa C. Brescher and husband Jake Brescher, daughter Nicole Dutka and husband Matthew Dutka. Grandchildren Briona, Alessandra, Marco, Sophia, Julia Zimmitti, Nicholas and Madison Brescher, Ava and Jacob Dutka. He is survived by his siblings Josephine Gigliotti and Robert Zimmitti. Nicholas was born on February 12, 1927 in Middletown, CT, son of Giuseppe and Carmelina Zimmitti. He attended Middletown School and was last employed by Pratt and Whitney in Middletown. Nicholas had a great sense of humor and loved his family dearly especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching his favorite baseball team, The New York Yankees win. Along with his parents Nicholas was predeceased by his brother Louis. He was so loved and will be missed, by his family, dear friends and Caregiver George Obeng. A mass of Christian burial in his honor will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021 at Saint Sebastian Church on Washington St. Middletown, CT 06457. Followed by Saint Sebastian Cemetery Middlefield Connecticut.
