Robert Majewicz Obituary
Robert J. Majewicz, Sr., 80, of Rockfall, husband of Anneli (Muru) Majewicz, died Saturday October 8, 2022 at his home. He was born in Middletown, the son of the late John and Helen (Rembis) Majewicz. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Deb Majewicz of West Hartland; his son, Paul R. Majewicz of Rockfall; four grandchildren, Robert J. Majewicz III (GA), Jessica Majewicz (RI), Ben Majewicz (Windsor), Paul R. Majewicz, Jr. (Enfield); and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee Miglietta and Jake Majewicz. He was predeceased by his son, Robert "Bobby" J. Majewicz, Jr. Bob retired as a custodian for Regional School District 13. He graduated as an electrician from Vinal Technical High School. Bob was a talented baseball player. He really enjoyed the sport that he played for many years. Bob loved his collection of Farmall tractors, as well as his extensive collection of CT dairy milk bottles. He also enjoyed his backyard wildlife habitat of birds, deer, raccoons, and turkeys. Bob was a soft spoken man with a generous heart. Bob had many friends and was liked by all who met him. He continued to be active, gardening, mowing, working in the yard and feeding the deer. Every day was a miracle to him, and God blessed him by taking him gently home. His Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Colman Church, Middlefield. Burial will be in Middlefield Cemetery. I remember when we were 14yrs old and walked to the bus stop to catch the school bus. We lived less than a half of a mile from each other our entire lives. A soft spoken gentle man was a blessing to know. His wife Ann was a wonderful wife and person. She and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My Goodness. I can't believe that Bob passed away. For years we would have coffee at the Athenian. Just this past Thursday he was there with his friends. A very gentle soul and kind man. Our crew will miss him. Rest in peace Bob.
