Sebastian A. Spada, 88, of Middletown, husband of the late Janine G. (Martel) Spada, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born in Middletown, the son of the late Anthony S. and Santina F. (Russo) Spada. Prior to his retirement, Sebastian was a supervisor with Pratt and Whitney. He is survived by his daughters, Tracey A. Wall and her husband, Michael, Linda M. Latronica and her husband, John, and Paula L. Chaffee; grandchildren, Kyle Secore (Ninette Fabian), Matthew Secore, Bryan Chaffee, Eric (Bonnie) Latronica; great-grandchildren, Logan Secore and Maylee Fabian, Gwendolyn Latronica; close special friend, Mike Bartlett; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, John J. Spada; and son-in-law, Brian Chaffee. Pall Bearers: Kyle Secore, Matthew Secore, Bryan Chaffee, Michael Wall, John Latronica and Arne McLellan. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, (Oct, 27th) at 10:30 am at St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown. Burial will be at St. Sebastian Cemetery. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, on Sunday from 2 to 4pm, Monday from 9:30 to 10:00am.
