Sue, It has been a year now. A difficult year for us, but we are doing our best. I miss your encouragement and letters. I take peace in knowing you lived and did what you knew to be important. I hope I honor your spirit with the new things I understand since your passing.
Went back to the Linden tree on Monday -- and felt gratitude. Thank you for reaching out to me and leaving me with your love.
Watch over us Susie, guide us. I know we have not done all this without your spirit and care.
Love to you.

Dear Yolanda....it was fate to have met you today after all these months...I was very sad to learn of Susan's untimely passing and in such a tragic way...she was also such a pleasure to bump in to...she loved to read and to discuss books, and was always eager to hear about other people's lives...You and she had such a very special bond and you should know that she is still with you in spirit and will always be in your heart.

Dear Yolanda,
I was so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. She was such a lovely person, always had a smile when I ran into her and always made me feel good just seeing her. I will really miss those random moments when she took the time to renew old memories. She was such a warm and gentle spirit. She's in my prayers and so are you.

Although I never new her name I knew her face as well as the kind things she would say to me when we passed, esp. at McDonalds in Cromwell. My sincerest sympathy!

Yolanda,
Sending lots of loving prayers and comfort to you in the passing of your sweet sister, Susan. You both were always a ray of sunshine whenever we saw you two. We will always remember her for her kind ways and friendly smile and how she loved walking, especially when there was a nice gentle breeze. I know she is now walking with the angels and smiling down on us.
You are in our hearts always,

To Susan Thorpe's Family
We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you all. I worked with Susan many years at Middlesex Hospital. She was such a dedicated employee . She was a sweet, gentle and lovely lady.
I saw Sue, walking on Main St. , a few days before my husband and I we were to leave for Oregon, to visit our daughter, Theresa.
We chatted a while and before we parted, Susan gave me a big hug , wished us a safe trip and said to tell Theresa , "Hello". Little did I know that would be the last time I would see Sue.
We were still in Oregon when we heard of Susan's terrible accident.
Our thoughts and Prayers are with all of Susan's family. She is now in Heaven and is walking with the Angels.
Sleep well Sweet Sue.
Very Sincerely, Tom and. Patty Inglis and Theresa Inglis O'Hollaren

My parents were neighbors of Sue and Yolanda for 30+ years. They always had a friendly word when she was out walking. My husband and I lived next door to them for a while and always enjoyed Sue's cheery greetings. We are grateful for these memories, and pray for the best of all,

My Mom and Dad were Sue's neighbors for 30+ years. They always had a friendly word when she was out walking around the building at Fernwood Apts. For a short time my husband and I lived next door to Sue and Yolanda. She always had something upbeat to say and her persistence was a real inspiration to me.
Our prayers are with you all at this time,

I worked with Sue at Middlesex Hospital for many years. She did as stated lead a very quiet and simplistic life and seemed to be at peace with that. She always had a smile for everyone she encountered. I am sorry for her loss to her family.
