Fred Gregg Obituary

FRED ARTHUR GREGG Fred Arthur Gregg died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Conroe, Texas, on October 16, 2024, at the age of 87. Fred is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty Gregg, his children, Joy Minyard, Lacey Gregg, and Connie Miskell and husband Edwin, his grandchildren, Justin, Aleathea, Matthew and Kayla, John and Emily, Amanda, Ann, and Stewart, Leah, Joseph and Loren, Makenzi and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Willie and Amanda Gregg, brother Clifford Gregg, sister, Evelynn Harjo, and son Darrell Gregg. Fred joined the Army in 1955 and faithfully served his country for 8 years. After leaving the Army he traveled around the world and had hundreds of stories he loved to share. He was a mason for 44 years and was a member of the Hella Temple and the Eastern Star. Fred loved working with wood and making things for others and was always ready to help anyone in need. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm in Cashner Colonial Hall (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas, 77303).
