Paul Justin Diedrich, 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, May 23, 2022, at his favorite place in DeKalb, Illinois, The Farm.
He was born in DeKalb, Illinois on July 22, 1957, the eighth child of Robert and Gwyn (Jones) Diedrich. He was a hard working farmer for most of his life, proud to work side-by-side with his father on the family farm. He retired in 2019 due to his poor health. He was known for helping others and his ability to make you laugh through good and bad times.
Paul married Star Waddell on June 16, 1984. They had two daughters, Jessica Diedrich, Chicago, Illinois and Michelle Diedrich (Steven O'Donnell), Durham, North Carolina.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Diane Diedrich, Linda Heinisch and Ann Diedrich, brother-in-law Tom O'Toole, nephew Nate Diedrich, and mother-in-law Sandy Waddell.
He is survived by his wife and daughters, his siblings Sarah (Gary) McMahon, Bartlett, Illinois, Robert (Andrea) Diedrich, Gilbert, Arizona, Jane (Bob) Rosemier, Gilbert, Arizona, Theresa (Michael) Brown, DeKalb, Illinois, Victoria (Chris) Cosby, Kirkwood, Missouri, Pat (Maryann) Diedrich, DeKalb, Illinois, and Mike Diedrich DeKalb, Illinois. He is also survived by a brother-in-law Ray Heinisch, DeKalb, Illinois, father-in-law Ray Waddell, DeKalb, Illinois, sister-in-law Robin Koks, Rochelle, Illinois, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb. A Prayer Service be held at 5:00 p.m. Cremation will Follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Diedrich Family in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.

Dear Diedrich Family,
