Diana Dempsey Obituary
Diana Morgan Dempsey, age 84, known to most as "Miss Di" and to her grandkids as "Mamaw," joined her angels on the morning of November 10, 2021. Diana was born on October 23, 1937 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Mr. Morgan and Peggy Fairchild Lambert Bradford.
To those that knew her, Miss Di was sweeter than the tea she drank. Her family and friends meant everything to her. She loved going to the beach and was happiest sitting under her umbrella listening to the waves crash for hours on end. She would walk along the shore collecting seashells and seaglass.
Miss Di was a walking miracle, defying the odds and astounding medical professionals time and time again with her unexplainable resilience. When there was truly no logical explanation and doctors were left scratching their heads, Di would proudly let them know that she had her angels watching over her. She loved her doctors dearly and the family would like to thank them for saving her life so many times. Di will be extremely missed, but we find comfort knowing that she has joined her beloved angels and is now an angel watching over us all.
Di is survived by her loving children; Scott Dempsey and Shelby Kramer, her cherished grandchildren; Charley Kramer "Bunny Girl" (Tom Anderson) and Paul Kramer "Bunks," sisters; Patricia Bradford and Naomi Bradford, nephews; Michael (Erika) Eddins and Christopher Bradford, great nephew and great niece; Ethan Eddins and Zoie Eddins. Diana was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Timothy Bradford and Priscilla Morgan.
A celebration of life will be held at the beach, her favorite place, in the coming weeks with her immediate family. Diana's ashes will be sprinkled into the ocean.
