Eric Magorian Obituary

Eric David Magorian, 60, of Burlington died Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

Born Feb. 16, 1965, in Burlington, he was the son of James and Maxine Ruth Timmerman Magorian.

Eric loved cooking and worked in the food industry around Burlington throughout the majority of his life. He enjoyed watching auto racing and spending time at the raceway in West Burlington. He enjoyed gardening and canning when he was younger.

He was a Chicago Bears fan and collected Pillsbury Doughboy figurines. Eric's kindness and personality will be deeply missed, but his memory will carry on through all who love him.

Survivors include his sister, Susan (Clyde "Sonny") Carpenter of Burlington; niece, Kristina (Elliott) Janssen of Mediapolis; great-nephew, Gabriel Janssen and great-niece, Quinn Janssen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James Magorian and Michael Magorian.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory and no services are scheduled at this time.

Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
