Tonya Renee Weber

Tonya Toomey Weber, 47, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Mitchell. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 8, at Bittner Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7:00 PM at Bittner Funeral Chapel. Tonya Renee (Toomey) Weber was born September 4, 1978, in Mitchell, SD, to Jerry and Deb Toomey. Tonya spent most of her life in Mitchell, with a stint of two years in Apple Valley, MN, with her sister Becky Barham. Tonya was an incredibly fun and sweet person with an infectious laugh. She always had a unique view of the world. Tonya enjoyed her work the most when she was able to help others. Above all, she cared deeply about everyone (especially her children). Tonya loved and enjoyed writing, drawing, creating poems, and making homemade cards. She also had a great love for music. Tonya is survived by her children, Ryder and Lexi Weber of Renner, SD; parents, Jerry and Deb Toomey of Mitchell, SD; sisters, Teri (Rich) Robertson of Mitchell, SD and Becky (Simon) Barham of Apple Valley, MN; nephews, Jesse Robertson, Dylan, Kobe & Lucas Barkmeier; niece, Rachel Robertson; and great-nephew, Colm Tobin. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, B. Wayne and Virginia Koehler, and Edward Toomey and Ella Frederiksen.
