Fannie Curtis Obituary

Fannie Curtis -- A native of Whistler, Alabama and a longtime resident of Summerville, SC. The daughter of the late Thomas Curtis and Carrie Brown. She entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 25, 2005 after a lengthy illness. She attended public school in Mobile, AL and was a dedicated and devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 30 years. She was a kind and gentle person and will greatly be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Willie Lee Curtis; two sisters, Joanne Washington and Minnie Lee Reed and three brothers, Thomas Curtis, Wilmer Curtis and Maurice Curtis. She leaves to cherish her memory, four daughters, Frances Agee, Mobile, AL, Jacqueline Moultrie, SC, Felecia Curtis, SC and Anetha Jackson, SC; two sons, Robert Earl, Texas and Reginald Curtis of GA; three sisters, Dorthy Mae Reed, Ala, Mary Thelma Ayler, Pennsylvania and Lucille Tapling, NY. She also leaves to cherish her memory, 18 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Reese Funeral Home, Saturday, January 29, 2005 from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL. Funeral arrangements are by REESE FUNERAL HOME 925 Bessemer Ave. Prichard, AL
