Albert Ehrke Obituary
November 5, 1948 - January 12, 2012
Rick Ehrke passed away at his home in San Juan Capistrano on January 12, 2012. He was a 1966 graduate of Downey High School. He retired in April of 2010 after a 32 year career with Wells Fargo Bank. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Roxanne, his son Sean (29), sister Robbie Murphy (Richard) of Fresno and brother Ron Ehrke (Vicki) of Oakdale, nieces Nicole Davis (Phil) and Michelle Haas (Anthony) of Oakdale, 4 grandnieces and 1 grandnephew. He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Robert L. Ehrke and his mother Jeanne Ehrke. Rick is a faithful believer in Christ and we rejoice that he now is with his Savior. Donations can be made in honor of Rick to Calvary Chapel, SJC, 31612 El Camino Real, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675.

Dear Robbie, I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I just now found this obituary, as I was attempting to find him and reconnect. I last spoke to Rick and Roxanne many years ago, and then we lost touch. If you remember me from Rick's UC Davis years, I would love to talk with you. I am on Facebook. I was very sad to hear of Rick's passing. We had great fun as kids enjoying the outdoors. I had hoped to reconnect at some point. My condolences to you and your families, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Jane and I knew Rick well in High School and through hunting along the creek. We hoped to see him again after we all retire, but sadly that won't happen. We mourn his passing and offer our deepest condolences to you that loved him so much. Blessings to you all.
