Andrew H. Chipponeri

ANDREW H. CHIPPONERI JAN 27, 1934 - MAY 11, 2009 Andy Chipponeri, age 75, passed away at his home in Modesto, CA. Andy lived in Ceres and Modesto all of his life. He attended grammar school and high school in Ceres and was a professional truck driver for 40 years. Whether it be on the road, in his hometown, or at a car show, Andy had a lot of friends. He loved to talk to people about trucking, classic cars, sports, his grandchildren, or how to grow the best tomatoes. Andy was preceded in death by two grandsons, Sean Chipponeri and Hayden Brink; one daughter-in-law, Steph Chipponeri; three brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Linda of 33 years; three sons, Andy Chipponeri Jr. of Ceres, Joey Chipponeri of Ceres, Bill Brink of Sonora; one daughter, Melissa Hradecky of Riverside; and one stepson, Michael Lowman of Ceres. Andy loved and was very proud of his grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Bryson, Breanna, Alexandria, Eric, Conner; and one great-grandchild, Brody. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA 95326. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
