Arnold John Pasma, 89, entered into eternal rest on July 27, 2017 in Modesto. He was born on March 11, 1928 in Hawarden, Iowa. Arnold leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Marjorie Pasma, his children Michael (Barb) Pasma, Melinda (LeRoy) Costa, Tami (Roger) Auwers, his grandchildren A.J. Pasma, Jason Pasma, Keith Pasma, Elisabeth Auwers, Curtis Pasma, Danielle Scalzo, Ashley Enserink, Stephanie Auwers, Amy Costa, 13 great grandchildren, and his sister Clarice Van Dyken.
Arnold loved to travel in his RV. He also enjoyed fishing and playing golf with his friends. He volunteered at the Ripon Fire Department for over 35 years, and after retiring, he volunteered at the Red Cross. Most recently, he truly enjoyed meeting his friends almost every morning at the local donut shop for coffee. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed!
Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel. A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 4-7pm at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 South Palm Avenue in Ripon. A Graveside Service will he held on Tuesday, August 1st at 10am at Ripon Cemetery, 320 North Stockton Avenue in Ripon followed by a Memorial Service at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 517 Orange Avenue in Ripon.
