I stopped by O'Briens Market today on Roseburg. I asked the checker if Barbara still worked there sometimes. They told me that Barbara passed away last year. I am so shocked to hear this news, and so sorry I did not know and be able to express my sorrow to her family. Barbara was a wonderful person, very caring and kind. What a loss for this world. My prayers will be with all of you always.

I had the honor of working with Barbara at O'Brien's Market, and I still cannot believe she is no longer with us. She was a delight to be around, and I'll never forget the joy she brought with her wherever she went! She was a great listener and always enjoyed a good laugh. I always admired Barbara for her sense of humor, her tender heart, and her constantly pleasant attitude. She will be greatly missed.

I only knew Barbara and her siblings thru their father, Francis. He was my teacher at Oakdale High School and remains to this day one of my fondest memories of school. His stories of family were both humorous and inspiring . . . my sincere condolences for his loss of a beautiful daughter. Linda Edwards Oery

To me, Barbara was always Mary's little sister.I always enjoyed her and thought she was very nice in high school. I hadn't seen her in years, but I do have fond memories of her.I certainly know how difficult this is for her family. Losing a mother, sister, daughter, and friend is never easy. It sounds to me like Barbara was a class act and departed this world with grace.
I am sure she is now with the Lord; She will be a blessing to Him.

Barbara will be missed by many more than we may ever know. She was a great kid who grew up to be a fine woman and enhanced the lives of anyone fortunate enough to meet her and/or call her "friend". My love and hugs to your family at this time,,,and always.
