Blake Barry Obituary

Blake Ryan Barry
October 25, 1993 - December 29, 2013
Blake Ryan Barry Olmos passed away at Oak Valley Hospital on Dec 29, 2013 due to injuries sustained in an unfortunate incident.  He was 20 years old.  Born in Walnut Creek, on October 25, 1993, he lived in Oakdale graduating from Oakdale High School in 2011. He was currently working as an Environmental Technician for ET Abatement, Inc.  Through Blake's last years he expressed his love for music, dabs, women and work.  But one of the things he is most proud of was being a Momma's Boy.  His kind heart out shines everyone.  He truly is the best brother, son and friend anyone could ask for.

He is survived by his mother Juanita Bovee and step-father Brett Bovee of Oakdale; Father Brian Barry and step mother Jennifer of Burson; siblings: Laura Bovee, Austin Bovee, Trenton Bovee, Elijah Thompson, Kyle Barry and Jordan Barry; Grandparents: George Olmos, Jim and Jenny Ayala, Judy Ross, George Bovee, Barbara Bovee, Francis Ernest Barry, Patricia Marsh, Sylvester Sylva, Bonejean Jordan, Charles Williams; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 at E Harney Lane in Lodi. Please sign the guestbook online at www.cherokeememorial.com

Juanita and Brett;
Sorry I could not make the funeral, the flight was cancelled due to the snow back east.
Blake always showed us great respect and love each time he was with us, you did a great job raising him.
I have Blake's thank you letters he sent me over the past 10 years. I treasured these letters and you are welcomed to them if you wish.
Love you both, Dad and Barbara

We little knew the day that
God was going to call your name

In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.

Blake,
Your smile brings back so many memories, from the very repetitive drawing classes, to the gatherings all over the high school campus. The one thing that remained the same was your smile and laughter. You have made a permanent impression on my heart, as well as many others, and please know that you will never be forgotten, for as long as I shall live. You brought all of us great joy with your company. May your body lay in peace forevermore while your soul survives along side us ...
With Love,
