Bruce MacPhail Obituary
September 25, 1940 - May 23, 2018
Bruce, age 77, passed on to his heavenly home, after a brief illness.
Bruce is survived by his wife Barbara R. MacPhail and his sister Janet (Ron) Reinitz of Oakdale, CA. He was the proud father of Kim (John) Holte, Ron Garrett, Sally (Bill) Randall, and Minnde (Bryce) Myers. He adored his 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. His parents, Edward and Winona MacPhail, preceded him in death.
He was a long time resident of Stanislaus County. He graduated from Oakdale High School in 1958 and would have joined fellow alumni for their 60th Reunion in October. Bruce also attended Modesto Junior College. His life's work was in the agricultural community.
After retirement he was able to spend more time with his beloved family, friends. Bruce was a member of Life Community Church in Oakdale. Bruce liked traveling with his motorhome, working in his yard, and playing with his dog.
Graveside service will be held, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Oakdale Citizens Cemetery, 701 East J Street, Oakdale, CA.
Relatives and Friends are welcome at the graveside service and a reception following at Life Community Church, 105 E. G St., Oakdale, CA.

To all the family and friends of Bruce. My family grew up on the dairy adjacent to yours on Smith Road in Oakdale until 1956. My grandparents sold the dairy when I was 10, so I did not know Bruce very well, but mostly Janet. Their mom was my 4-H Leader. I still have fond memories of those early years.
