Carl Schneider Obituary

CARL A. SCHNEIDER OCT. 10, 1919 - DEC. 14, 2003

Carl A. Schneider died in his Woodland home Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003 at age 84.

Born Oct. 10, 1919 at his family farm near Woodland; Mr. Schneider was a lifelong resident of Woodland. When he returned from the service he farmed with his brother Joe, and cousin Bill Fricke as Schneider, Fricke & Schneider from 1946-1981.

He was a World War II veteran, retired from farming and still active in community events.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Jane Schneider, his children and spouses, Geneva Koebel and husband Doug of Woodland; Carl J. Schneider and wife Judy of Sacramento; Gerald Schneider and wife Jan of Riverbank; eight grand- children and ten great grand- children, sister Agnes Farnham of Auburn; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Services: Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19th with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Kraft Bros. Funeral Chapel in Woodland. Services will be at Holy Rosary Church on Saturday, Dec. 20th at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Monument Hill. Kraft Bros. phone # (530) 662-4658.
