Deborah "Debbie" Ann Murdock died on January 28, 2016 in Turlock, CA. She was 56.
Debbie was born on June 28, 1959 in Newman, CA to Clarence and Lorinne Gomes. She graduated from Gustine High School in 1977. Debbie dedicated her life to loving her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She worked 28 years in the healthcare industry where she earned her RHU. Throughout her career she touched countless lives, and was well respected in her field.
Debbie was more than our wife, mom, and Mammie; she was our best friend. She would do anything for anyone with love and tireless energy, never having to be asked. She knew how to take care of us even when we didn't know how to take care of ourselves. She wiped our tears, kissed our scrapes, held our hands, and rocked our babies.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Ron Murdock; her daughter and son-in-law, Danee' and Keith Wallace; her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Rick Fetter; her son, Trevor Wyatt; her daughter, Kaitlyn Wyatt, and four grandchildren, Madison, McClain, McKinely, and Emmitt. She is also survived by her father, Clarence Gomes; her sisters, Lori Jamero (Chris), Christine Watson (Matt), Stephanie Eldridge (Kevin), and Jackie Gomes (Kimberly).
Debbie's service will be held at Turlock Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th at 10:30 a.m. She will be buried in a private ceremony immediately following the service. There will be a Celebration of Life to honor this amazing woman at the Sportsman of Stanislaus in Modesto starting at noon. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Debbie's life.
Debbie often gave to many charitable organizations. She was particularly fond of pulling the tags for families and children in need during the Christmas season. The family has created a legacy fund in the name of Debbie Murdock to carry on her legacy of giving during the holiday season. It was with complete and utterly shock to here of Debbie's passing. She was a work colleague, friend, helper and much...much..more. The industry will have a huge gap and many lives are affected of her passing. Hugs and strength to all of her family.
