Delbert Herrera Obituary
DELBERT D. HERRERA DAVY'' DEC. 14, 1950 AUG. 14, 2007 Delbert worked as a carpenter for 35 yrs. Delbert was greatly loved; he loved art, woodwork, doing all types of handyman jobs. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by 3 children, Jeremy Herrera, Patricia Shinall and Davida Phillips; brothers, Jose Jr., Victor, Oscar, Marco, and Jamie Herrera; sisters: Elsa, Marycella, Lupita, Carmen, Belia, Edelmira, and Chabella; and 3 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by son, Delbert D. Herrera Jr.; and parents, Jose and Guadalupe Herrera.
Viewing Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 4-8 P.M. at Lakewood Funeral Home .
Service Wednesday, August 22, 2007; 10:00 AM at Three Rivers Christian Fellowship, 10th and F Street, Modesto. Interment to follow at Lakewood Funeral Home.

Delbert was part of our family for several years and he gave us two beautiful gifts Jeremy and Davida. He always had a smile and a hug for anyone who was nearby. While we did not see him often he was always nearby. And we will miss him .

our family is hurting right now. we have lost part of our family. but if any light comes out of this we can say he is with his loving son pooky, walking the streets of gold and purple.we just have to hold each other and remember what he was to us, a really good man.we miss you delbert and we love you.
