Opened the drawer this evening, pulled out the memorial program....with Vinny's beautiful smile as he looked at the camera that took his photo. I just sat there and said a prayer for his dear Dad...and family.

Vinnnnn, there isn't a day that mc doesn't miss you. Tay and I have been looking all of the pictures from the beginning of the year.. we were happy. It's not the same anymore. The most heartbreaking moment any person could ever experience is the loss of one’s own child. Not one person on this green earth could truly understand the depth and degree of this sorrow for it runs so deep as to shake the foundation of one’s soul, Jannette and Dino find themselves in such a place. We all pray that they emerge from the darkness of their loss and find peace in their heart. I am not a very religious man, but I do know that we all must believe in something greater than this life we live, and as we all must pass the bonds of this world, that we touch the hand of God, and he guides us into the arms of those who have passed before us. We must never lose hope, for it will save us, and our hands will be free to do good works. Godspeed.

We always shared a bond closer than just cousins. You were both a little brother to me as well as a big brother. You always had my back whether I was wrong or right. Vinny would come over almost everyday after his hard long practice and talk with my son Hayden at the Kingsmen practice. Vinny would play around and encourage Hayden in football, Hayden's practice jersey just happens to be #56. The weekend of Vinny's passing Hayden dedicated his Kingsmen game to Vinny with 2 picks and 3 touch downs. The Sauser family pray for you often and want you to know how much we love your son. Vinny was one of the reason's Travis played varsity football his sophomore year, he was always in Travis's face pushing him to do better. Vinny made us smile & laugh and that memory will forever be in the Sauser family hearts.

I am so sorry for your loss. I last remember Vinny (when I lived across the street from him) as a beautiful little boy that was always so happy and was so full of life! And I remember how much you, Dino, loved him and did anything for him. I will always remember what an awesome father you were to Vinny and how much fun he had with you. Vinny I will miss you so much and you left the world to soon. We had such great times throughout our elementary and middle school years. You always were making jokes and making everyone smile. I would just like to say that I am praying for all of you. my mom is wendy patterson who taught vinny in preschool and I went to school with him for 9 years and even though I am a year older than him I got to know Vinny over the years.
