My uncle Fred spent a weekend with my dad, Art Martinez and myself camping and golfing in Castro Valley several years ago. My dad, mom, (Trine, Fred's sister), and I shared our memories of Fred: his witty sense of humor, competitive golfing skills, and a kind word for everyone. He will be missed, but will bring a smile to everyone when they think of him.
