Herbert Moreno Obituary

HERBERT RAUL MORENO APR 17, 1935 - JUNE 18, 2009 Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend passed into heaven on June 18. Herbert was born April 14, 1935 in Oxnard, Ca. until he moved to Stockton, Ca in 1942. He moved to Modesto in 1958. His love for life was his family, golfing, and his motorcycle. He was diagnosed last April 2008 with Cancer and fought hard for the last year. He was preceded in death by his father Andrew Moreno, mother Fortuna Moreno, sister Elva Tercero, and father in-law Hank Trantham. He is survived by his wife Lauthel Moreno, his brother, Armondo Moreno; his children Herbert (Tony) Moreno Jr., Patty (Sam) Farias, Yolanda (Ron) Pratt, Sandy Kosaka, Kim (Derek) Barber and step-children Jeff (Tina) Belcher, and Paul (Tessie) Belcher. He had 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren with one due in October. Services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park with visitation Tuesday June 23 from 4-8 pm with funeral service Wednesday June 24 at 10 am. Lakewood Memorial Park 900 Sante Fe Avenue in Hughson, Ca.
