Ian Hamilton passed at the young age of 29. He was born on December 21, 1983 in Modesto, CA to his mother Debbie Hamilton and his father Gary Hamilton. He was a loving husband, father, brother and son. Ian loved fishing, the outdoors, cooking, spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed cheering on his favorite football team, the Raider's. But above all he was a faithful and devout Christian. He would be the first to say that God was his best friend. He is a graduate from Downey High School and from Modesto Junior College. Ian leaves behind his beloved wife of two years, Lisa Hamilton and his three beautiful children Tannon Jax Hamilton, Brittany Sisco, and Emily Sisco all of Modesto. Leaving also his sister Janee (Junior) Quintanar and his nieces and nephews Karina, Natalie, and Isaac Quintanar, his grandparents Clayton and Jewel Hamilton and his in laws Dale and Maribeth Dupriest behind. He is preceded death by his grandparents Angelo and Elsie Spinelli. The family has entrusted Franklin & Downs Funeral Home with the services. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 4:00-7:00pm with Rosary starting at 7:00pm at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel. The graveside will be at Hills Ferry Cemetery District in Newman, CA on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. A celebration of life will be Thursday at Bethel Church in Modesto at 11 a.m.

Our heart goes out to all the Family we will keep you in our thoughts, Ian was a good friend to our son Dustin Perry, we lost his brother Casey 3 1/2 years ago at the age of 24 & he had a 5 1/2 month old daughter so to Ians parents we know the pain you go through loosing a child & we will keep you in our thoughts with Love.

My thoughts are prayers go out to Ian's family and friends. I have so many great memories with Ian during Jr. high and high school. Playing H.S. football, joking around in class, hanging out after school, and ski trips were just a few of the memories. But the best memory I have of Ian was how he was such a sincere and caring friend to me. Ian had qualities about him that attracted many people who loved and cared for him. I'll miss you Ian. It's been years that I have seen Ian, actually since High School. Ian had a great sense of humor. Whether it was a pass in the hallway or sitting next to him in class he always made me laugh. His passing brings sadness to my heart for his family. I pray that God may grant peace to the broken hearted.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the Hamilton family and all that knew and loved Ian.
Ian spent time quite often at our home after Downey football games along with other players and our son Kenny Gilbert. Ian was a very respectful young man and had a wonderful sense of humor that would lift your spirits after a rough day. I appreciated that!
I pray that in time, you will be able to smile at the memories you hold in your heart and that your dreams will bring you comfort someday in the near future. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

So very sorry to hear this very sad news. Over the last couple of years we have lost touch with Ian but have many memories to last forever.
