July 6, 1930 - February 5, 2023
Modesto, California - It brings us great sadness to announce the passing of our mom, Jean. She was a wonderful and loving person, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Don, and her daughter Toni Collum. She leaves behind her children, Pat Holmes, Michael Daly, and Shelli Everett, as well as 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held March 11 at 11 a.m. at Salas Brothers, 419 Scenic Drive, Modesto.

My sincere condolences to the family. Jean served as the secretary at Franklin Elementary School for several years. She was very nice, with a great sense of humor.

Jeanie, that´s what most people called her, a dear friend to our family. She was my godmother. My mom, June and her go way back, more than 75 years. She always kept us laughing, especially with stories about her and mom, getting together in their younger years. Almost like Lucy and Ethel! Our sympathy goes out to the family.
