Jimmie "Jim" Alfred Davis passed away peacefully on December 31st, 2015 In Turlock.  Jim was born on June 2, 1941 in Drumright, Oklahoma to William Stirling Davis and Ruth Marie Davis (Miller) and moved to Central California when he was twelve years old.    
Jim is survived by his wife JoAnn Davis; his mother Ruth Gentry; his children Michael Davis of Vallejo; Stephen (Zella) Mayotte of Turlock; Sharon Davis-Garcia of Porterville; Sandra (Ricky) Albritton of Farmerville, Louisiana; Susan (Gary) Souza of Hanford; Lisa (Geno) Zinani of Conconully, Washington; and Shelly Mayotte of Turlock.  Sister Claudine (Rick) Boswell of Dunsmuir; brother JG Davis of Denton, Texas; and brother Ray Davis of Richardson, Texas; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his father William, son Joseph T. Mayotte, brother's Larry Joe Davis, Gene Davis, Jerry Davis and sister Shirley Davis.
A graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock.
