John Findarle Obituary

John William Findarle was born in El Cerrito, CA. He and his family moved to the Riverbank area in his teens and Riverbank became his lifelong home. John attended Modesto High School where he found his love of building and electronics. John started the Findarle's TV & Aplliance store on Atchison St. in Riverbank in the 1950's. It was there he met the love of his life, Cora Darlene Proctor. They were married in 1957. John & Darlene began their life together, building a home in Riverbank where they lived their entire lives, retiring in 1995. John and Dar shared a lifelong love of the outdoors spending time at their cabin near Kennedy Meadows and Lake Tahoe. Over the years they also loved animals, and had many dogs, the last being their precious "Baby Dog".
Nothing was greater however, than his love for his family.
John is survived by his bride of 61 years, Cora Darlene Findarle. Two sons, John Jeffrey Findarle (Terri) of Midway, Utah and James Robert Findarle (Jane) of Modesto, CA.
He is also survived by grandchildren Phillip Avana, Michael Findarle, Dustin Findarle (Terha), Lexie Trivundza (Nick), Cassidy Findarle (John), Katelynn Bench (Colby), Brandon Findarle (Kylie), and 13 great-grandchildren.
JOHN LOVED LIFE.
The family will be holding a private service.

John I had the pleasure of working for you and caring for you and your wife Darlene ,I know it was a short time i spent with you but I will always treasure our long conversations .I want to thank you so much for welcoming me into your home with so much love and kindness ,I will always love you hold you close to my heart you are gone but I will never forget you John ..may God and Jesus embrace you and care for you now....Your girl and care taker Rosie..

My sincere condolences for your loss at this time. John truly lived a wonderful long life of 89 years. When someone we love falls asleep in death the memories we have of them become our treasure, she/he will dearly be missed by all those who knew and loved her/him. May those cherished memories of a life well lived and Gods promise at ( John 6:40) bring you a measure of comfort.
