Joseph Eugene Garrett passed on Monday July 28th in Modesto, California. He is survived by his loving wife Judy Garrett of Keyes, Ca. He is also survived by his two children: Tammie Lasater and husband Marty of Siloam Springs, AR, and Joseph Garrett Jr. and his wife Pandora of Siloam Springs, AR. Joseph had 11 siblings, 8 grand children and 3 great grandchildren. Joseph was born in Modesto and has lived in Keyes all his life. He and Judy were married 49 years. He is the son of Elmer Holland Garrett (deceased) and Wanda Lee Easley. He completed high school in Turlock, CA.
Joseph made his living in the construction trade. He was a talented musician and loved motorcycles - working on them as well as riding. He dearly loved his grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Haven of Hope Church at 5470 -7th St in Keyes, Ca. at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 1, 2014.

Joe was a good friend during Keyes Grammar School and Turlock High School years. He walked tall and looked you in the eye. He was such an impressive person. My brothers and I have often remembered him in the past and will do so in the future. We are sorry for your loss and extend our condolences and prayers to the Garrett family.
